Dragon Age: Origins Review
2 CommentsPosted by Trevor Lentz on December 20, 2009 under Game Reviews, PC, Playstation 3, Xbox 360
Bioware goes back to their "origins" in this epic tale showing that not every hero is pure. When I first played Dragon Age: Origins I can honestly say that I was quite impressed from the very first cutscene. This game has a very movie-esque dialogue system similar to bioware's other games (Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Mass Effect). From the witty lines from companion characters to the b... more. -
Final Fantasy Dissidia Review

So the long awaited Dissidia Final Fantasy game for the PSP is finally here and brings some new things to the table, but unfortunately brings back some old problems with it. Well to start off the review I would like to say that this game is one of the most robust, nicely planned and thought-out games I have played to date. Well in a weird opinion, basically The First 10 Proper Final Fantasy ga... more. -

Three years ago, Raven Software and Activision answered the call of comic book fans everywhere by introducing the first massive Marvel Comics crossover adventure, Marvel Ultimate Alliance. Despite minor flaws, it was heralded by fans and critics as one of the most successful translations of a comic book property to a video game. This month, Activision published a sequel to the breakout hit of 2006... more. -
Mario and Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story

As practically every single main Nintendo character has been featured in a starring video game role, we have to think of the ones who haven’t. One of the ones that surprises me the most is the antagonist of the entire series, Bowser. Bowser, having never had a game solely based on him, finally got his big break. Great minds think alike I guess because Nintendo has finally come out with “Mario ... more. -

The Need for Speed series started off immeasurably strong, pumping us titles like “The Need For Speed,” “Need For Speed II,” and “Need for Speed: Underground.” Since 1994 EA has been devoted to the franchise, through the good and the bad, and there has definitely been some rough patches. Lately, Need For Speed doesn’t seem to be having the success it is used to and we can only assu... more. -

Very little information on Bungie’s latest game in development - possibly the last between Microsoft and Bungie as partners - Halo: Reach, has been released to the public, other than it may very well be the largest game yet from Bungie. What has been shown by Microsoft and Bungie is a small teaser that covers the fall of the planet Reach, a pivotal time point in Halo lore. When asked about the g... more. -

Terminator Salvation the game didn’t enhance the image of Terminator games, previous Terminator games were much of disappointing, and Terminator Salvation wasn’t far from the previous releases. Wolverine is one of the most aggressive characters in X-Men the comics and videogames, now it had followed up into the movies as well. MadWorld is the game to change that image, the game bring the players an environment f... more.
